T-Swirl Crepe
Earlier this summer CNN did story that explored the science behind the phenomenon known as “hangry,” the word people frequently used to describe the grumpy and short-tempered feeling you get when you’re hungry. What CNN concluded was pretty simple — the easiest way to handle hanger is to eat something before you get so hungry that you’re angry.

That’s certainly an easy solution if you’re living or visiting Philly, a city where there are new restaurants popping up every day.

Here are some new places to check out this summer/fall when that “hangry” feeling starts creeping up on you:

Anastasi Raw Bar
Currently located in Philadelphia’s famous and always bustling Italian Market, the Anastasi seafood family will be opening a new restaurant in Manayunk this fall. The new raw bar/Pescatore polish joint will provide guests with wide array of crabs, shrimp and various other seafoods from around the world.

Snap Kitchen
The Texas healthy food chain will be opening a store in Philly later this year. Their shtick — consciously crafted food that is both delicious and nutritious. Their menu will offer a wide selection of meals, snacks, and cold-pressed juices that are made fresh daily, portion controlled, and nutritionally balanced.

Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar
The Southern based restaurant chain, that serves deliciously fresh and Contemporary American Italian cuisine, is slated to set up home near Philly’s SugarHouse Casino sometime this fall or winter. The chain currently has thirteen locations, including Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina and a new location in Lexington, KY.

T-Swirl Crepe
A restaurant that started thousands of miles away on the shores of Japan and specializes in sweet and savory crepes, just made its debut in Chinatown this summer. Their chefs skillfully pour the exact amount of batter and place each ingredient perfectly to produce a delicious crepe.
