Summer isn’t gone just yet, which means you still have time to fit in some last minute summer reading. And what makes for better summer reading than a good “chick let”?!
You know what I mean, those fun to read, not so serious page turners that ladies – and very likely, some men (who may not want to admit it) – enjoy reading. Books like Confessions of a Shopaholic, Jemima J., and Something Borrowed.
For those of you enjoy these books, we have some exciting news to share — Jennifer Weiner, author of popular books like Good in Bed and In Her Shoes, will be at the Free Library of Philadelphia on Tuesday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss her new novel Who Do You Love. The event is free and open to the public.
The new book is an unforgettable story about the passage of time, the way people change and change each other, and how the measure of a life is who you love. Its main characters are Rachel Blum and Andy Landis, who meet randomly in an emergency room when they are eight years old and think they’ll never see each other again.
Weiner, who just in March announced her new gig as one of the New York Times newest Op-Ed and Sunday Review contributors, grew up in Connecticut but currently lives in Philadelphia with her family.
