Philly Tech Week 2016, presented by Comcast, hits center city on Friday, April 29, and runs through Saturday, May 7.  The week-long event is Technical.ly Philly’s sixth annual celebration of technology and innovation. Last year, more than 25,000 people attended more than 150 tech-week events.

Philly Tech week is organized into six different tracks: Creative, Access, Development, Civic, Business, and Media.  Some of the week’s highlights include the Philly Tech Week Kickoff Festival-Arcade at Dilworth Park on Friday, April 29, the Mayoral Tech Town Hall event on Monday, May 2, in which the administration will talk about how they approach innovation policy and economic development, the Media Conference on Tuesday, May 3, in which trends, best practices, and case studies will be discussed, and the PTW16 Signature event on Friday, May 6, featuring a cocktail reception and an interactive local technology expo and demo party.
