The holidays are here! And while this is typically a season to gather at your favorite bars and restaurants to feast of festive food and drinks, current COVID-19 precautions are making that a little trickier this year. Tinsel Christmas Pop-Up

Fans of the Tinsel Christmas Pop-Up Bar will rejoice in knowing that Tinsel is BACK for another holiday season … just in a different way. This year, the pop-up concept comes in the form of a new festive over-the-top streetery, twinkling light display and a brand-new charity for the Canned Good Cocktail. Plus, the new snow machine will being a touch of a white Christmas to Midtown Village.
Tinsel will bring the sparkle of the holidays to the street as the exterior, sidewalk and streetery outside Tinsel, Finn McCools, Sueno and Go Popcorn all get a Christmas make-over with thousands of twinkling lights, bows, presents, elves, santa hats, bells and more.
Outside, look for the streetery featuring seven tables with seating for four guests with heat lamps, wind guards, twinkling lights and added decorations. Table service will be available with food and drinks from both Tinsel and Sueno. Sueno will also feature take-out food and drink from Tinsel and Sueno menus out their front-windows for those in a rush and on the go!
Inside Tinsel, customers will place and pick-up their order in the middle of a Christmas wonderland – as they socially distance “at least one Christmas tree apart from each other” and move in the new one-way layout. No food or drink is allowed for consumption inside, and masks are required at all times when inside ordering or picking up. All food and drink will be packaged and sealed to go.

This year, you won’t be able to much on your favorite holiday treats while perusing the vendors at the Christmas Village. But that can’t stop us from feasting on Bratwurst, Raclette Cheese, and French Toast Bites. (All while sipping mulled wine, of course!) Marlo and Jason Dilks of SliCE announce the return of their annual holiday pie, Pizza of the 7 Fishes. This special seasonal pizza is inspired by their families’ Christmas Eve traditions and by a seven course seven fish dinner popular in South Philadelphia. Pizza of the 7 Fishes features mozzarella topped with clams, mussels, shrimp, tuna, crab meat and sardine all sauteed with fresh olive oil and garlic, and topped with anchovies, fresh lemon and basil. Pizza of the 7 Fishes will be available until Christmas Eve (December 24th) for $19.00 for small and $26.00 for large. The Dilks also brings back a family tradition for your family to share – Seafood Caesar.
