Who doesn’t love the heavenly dough cooked between two plates and modeled with little grooves that are just the right size to fit toppings like syrup, whipped cream, and other delicious goodies. For those of you who may not be picking up what I’m putting down, the deliciousness being described above is waffles. And for those of you living in Philly, this deliciousness just got a little closer with Waffles & Wedges – a new joint opening in our city on Sunday, April 26.
Waffles & Wedges, located at 1511 Pine Street, is Philly’s newest go to place for liege waffles and baked fries. Oh and did I mention the sauces? They have more than two dozen rotating sauces for guests to dip their waffles and wedges in – YUM!
And since this new place is owned by Andrea Capecci and Laura Judy, if you don’t know they are the masterminds behind Pbon’s Fresh Food of Philly food truck, the menu will also include melts – crab and cheese, sausage and cheese, cheesesteak melt and more.
