The Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department has a gift for you!

Tree Philly is a green initiative lead by Philly Parks and Rec, in partnership with Wells Fargo and Fairmount Park Conservancy, to help residents obtain free trees for their properties. Those who would like to obtain a tree from Tree Philly this Spring, must sign up in advance no later than March 31st to receive a in April. Fall trees will be available in November. Those who are interested must sign up by October 31st to receive their free tree in November.

Tree variety and availability will vary by season. This spring there are some very beautiful varieties to choose from, no boring leafy gifts here! For a full list of current varieties click here.

There are volunteer opportunities also available with Tree Philly, for those that share an interest in making Philadelphia a greener place to live and visit.
