Philadelphia City Rowing, an entirely free, competitive youth rowing program for public high school students from throughout Philadelphia, will offer free Learn To Row sessions this summer. Each Learn To Row session will be two-weeks long and take place Monday through Friday from 10am to 12:30pm at Lloyd Hall, #1 Boathouse Row.

Learn To Row will introduce participants to the basics of rowing, including boat handling, terminology, and of course on the water technique. The PCR coaching staff includes former US National Team athletes and participants will have access to high-quality equipment. Each session ends with an intra-squad scrimmage! Learn To Row is a fun and unique summer experience in and of itself; however, it’s also a perfect way to try a new sport and decide if you would like to join the competitive PCR team.
