Thursday, May 12, marks the start of Philadelphia’s Night Market season. Night Market is a seasonal celebration of street food, music, culture, and community held in various neighborhoods throughout the city.  Thursday’s Night Market will run from 6 -10 p.m.  in Roxborough. The Callowhill neighborhood will host the event on June 23,  West Philly will host September 1, and a to-be-determined neighborhood will host on October 1. Read on to discover five reasons to love Philadelphia’s Night Market:

1.) All the city’s best food trucks and neighborhood restaurants will be serving delicious fare. Tacos, ice cream, pizza, cookies!

2.) All the best local beer and spirits will be on tap!

3.) The streets will come alive with entertainment from local musicians.
