We are running into November’s third weekend in style. Whether you are running to the movies, shopping till you drop, or actually running a marathon, this is the weekend for you!
Philadelphia Marathon
November 18-20
The Philadelphia Marathon will take over the city all weekend. Kicking off on Friday, and continuing on Saturday, with a health and fitness expo at the convention center, followed by a half marathon, 8k, and kids fun run on Saturday, and finished off with the big 26.2 mile race on Sunday that will take runners all throughout the city of Brotherly Love. Whether you are running or watching in the fun it will be, as always, a super-fun fitness-filled weekend!
Last Chance to see the Jewish Film Festival
Through November 19th – Various locations
Since November 5th the Jewish Film Festival has been taking place at the Gershman Y and other locations throughout the city. This weekend is the last chance to see some of the great works offered in the festival this year. For a line up of films click here.
Franklin Flea Holiday Market
November 19th 11am-6pm – Strawbridges at 8th and Market Streets
Get started or finish up your holiday shopping at the fun and unique Franklin Flea Holiday Market this Saturday. The market, which was started in 2013, primarily focuses on top vendors of antique, vintage and up-cycled furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles, antiques, and delicious fresh cooked or small batch pre-packaged food, as well as a select number of jewelry, art, and handmade goods by local artisans and designers.
