Spring starts on Monday but if you look outside it seems like we are stuck in the dead of winter.  Hopefully you enjoyed a snow day or two this past week but now it’s time to get out of hibernation and enjoy the weekend.  Luckily, between celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and the start of Philly Wine Week there is plenty for you to do!

 

Raiders of the Lost Ark with the Philadelphia Orchestra 
March 17-19 – The Kimmel Center

How cool would it be to watch Raiders of the Lost Ark on a huge screen while a live orchestra plays the sound track?  Well this weekend there’s no need to wonder, that’s exactly what will be happening at the Kimmel Center Friday and Saturday at 7pm then again on Sunday at 2pm.  For more information and to purchase tickets click here!

Philly Wine Week
March 19-26 – Throughout the City

Calling all Wine lovers!  Philly Wine Week starts this Sunday and goes through next Sunday March 26th.  Various restaurants, bars, and even Whole Food’s throughout the city will be hosting awesome wine-themed events throughout the week.  A kick-off event, called Opening Corks, will be held Sunday at the Academy of Natural Sciences from 6pm-9pm.  Use the hashtag #WineatNine to post on social media at 9pm each night of the the event and show what wine you are drinking to be entered to win some great prizes!
