It’s the first weekend in the holiday-fun-filled month of December and there is so much to do around the city!

Friday Night Lights
December 1st 4:30pm-7:30pm – Morris Arboretum

Throughout the month of December the Morris Arboretum will light up their popular Holiday Garden Rail each Friday night.  Bring the family for some hot chocolate and snacks as you enjoy this spectacular event.  This Saturday members from the Pennsylvania Ballet’s Nutcracker will be on hand for photos!  For more information click here to visit the Arboretum’s website.

Holiday Tree Lighting 
December 1st 6pm-9pm – Blue Cross Riverrink

If you haven’t been to the Blue Cross Riverrink Winterfest yet, this Friday is the perfect time to check it out because there will be a FREE Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony with live music from award winning R&B artist Chante Moore.  Check out the event, ice skate, drink, eat, and celebrate the kick off of the holiday month at the Blue Cross Riverrink Winterfest!  For more information, click here!

Deck the Alley
December 2nd 3pm-7pm – Elfreth’s Alley

Philadelphia has so many historical spots and there is no better time to visit them then during the holidays.  This Saturday America’s oldest residential street opens up to celebrate the season with carolers, decorations, and even a visit from the jolly old elf himself!  For more information click here!
