The Radio One, Inc. station transformed from its mainstream urban format to throwback hip-hop just this week – making Philadelphia the second major market where the Silver Spring, Maryland-based broadcasting company has introduced this radio format. The change not only strengthens Radio One’s position as an urban music leader, but is expected to take Philadelphia by storm.
