BznIkp6IEAEmRSsThe Independence Seaport Museum, in partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, will host the 3rd Annual Old City Seaport Festival on Saturday, October 11 through Sunday, October 12. It will be a weekend-long celebration of everything maritime. From visiting Tall Ships to various maritime-themed activities inside and outside the Seaport Museum, the Old City Seaport Festival is a family-friendly blowout event.

The Festival kicks off Friday, October 10 with a majestic Parade of Boats along Penn’s Landing at 5:00 p.m. Visitors can watch the parade for free on the landing or purchase a River Tour ticket to be aboard one of the Tall Ships.

On Saturday and Sunday, the landing around the Seaport Museum will come alive with deck tours of the Tall Ships, craft vendors, roaming costumed pirates, food trucks, an outdoor Gosling’s Dark ‘n Stormy Tavern, a pirate Moon Bounce, rowboat races in the basin and antique and classic boats on display. The Festival will also feature a 2- foot pirate ship made out of turkey bacon!

Visitors can enjoy the free waterfront activities, or purchases tickets to gain exclusive access to specific areas of the festival, including a River Tour ticket to climb aboard one of the Tall Ships.
