Byrne Golf Club

Austin Meehan Middle School
As you venture up the long driveway to the school there is a hill to the side that is perfect for traditional sledding. Great for all ages!

Torresdale-Frankford Country Club
If you’re from the Northeast then you’ve probably sled at this golf course at one time or another. Great hills and lots of sledders.

Tommy’s Hill in Germantown
A nice steep hill that will thrill the heart of avid sledders. Be careful when it gets crowded as there are trees on either side, but bottom line is, it’s a great hill!
Find it near Thomas Mansion/Clifford Park
Water Hill in Chestnut Hill
Has a variety of hills so its great for the tetering tykes to the adventurous pre-teens who want to take advantage of their next snow day.

Art Museum Steps
Probably the most unconventional “hill” listed and most dangerous, but when your downtown sledding hills can be hard to come by. So, sled at your own risk and wait for heavy snow before giving this spot a try.
