It’s Easter weekend here in Philly, and as always, there’s plenty to do. This holiday weekend, take advantage of spending time with your family and friends and appreciate all that’s around you in this beautiful city. Here are 5 suggestions for what to do:

2.) Take a walk!  Something so simple, yet so satisfying. Philadelphia is starting to bloom and come alive. Stroll through the city and its environs and enjoy the flowering trees, The Logan Square Fountain, and the Schuylkill River Trail and Kelly Drive.

3.) Sit in the Park! Another simple, yet satisfying pastime. Enjoying the sights and sounds of Rittenhouse Square Park can be both peaceful and entertaining at the same time. Read a book! Sip some coffee! People watch!

5.) The 85th Annual Easter Promenade: Easter wouldn’t be complete without attending the Easter promenade down South Street. Featuring Easter treats, the Philadelphia Freedom Band, the Easter Bunny, and even Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail! The parade is held at 400 South Street from 12:30-2 p.m.

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
