For some of us that means gathering together in the kitchen, on the couch watching football, attending a parade or festive event, or sitting around the table playing games with friends and family.

On November 23rd, enjoy a special a la carte brunch or a multi-course dinner at Urban Farmer. The a la carte brunch menu is from 7 am – 2 pm. The multi-course dinner is from 3-9 pm with options like Calabaza Squash Bisque to start, Cider Brined Turkey with natural jus, a variety of sides and a choice of Chocolate Pecan Tart, Apple Cinnamon Cobbler or Pumpkin Pie for dessert. The cost is $115 per person and $50 for children under 12.

CO-OP is a contemporary, bright, and airy restaurant in The Study Hotel, between the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. The University City restaurant will be offering a Thanksgiving Prix-Fixe Menu for $50 per person, as well as a Thanksgiving To-Go package starting at $80 for two. The elevated Thanksgiving menu will include Roasted Turkey, Pomme Puree with Chives, Gravy, Cornbread Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Clover Roll with Maple Rosemary Butter, Candied Yams with Pecans, and a choice between Peach Cobbler or Apple Pie for dessert. Dock Street Brewing Company, Philadelphia’s original woman-owned and family-run craft brewery founded in 1985, is introducing Friendsgiving Pizza Parties, available at both Dock Street locations, with the pizza room at South starting $750 and Fishtown starting at $1,000. Open from November 13 to November 16, with additional dates on November 20 and 21, these intimate parties are ideal for groups of 10-22 guests. Each night from 7-9 pm, one party can be pre-booked, featuring craft beer, soda, an assortment of small plates for sharing, and three pizza varieties.

Forsythia, Chef Christopher Kearse’s contemporary French restaurant and bar in Old City, is offering the 10 Day-Dry Aged Duck For Two, an iconic and fan-favorite menu offering, as a luxury take-away option this Thanksgiving. This thoughtfully-crafted takeout meal is fit for two people and consists of Rohan Duck Breast, confit wings, foie gras-white bean cassoulet, and duck jus, priced at $140. Philly Turkey Trot to Benefit Face to Face

Face to Face is a non-profit 501(c)(3) human services organization dedicated to the health, well-being and stability of our community. This race is a Philadelphia Thanksgiving morning tradition with over 1,000 runners and 75 sponsors in attendance from across the city that has raised over $3 million dollars. This year is the 31st year of the race.
