Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Sport your best green outfit and celebrate all week long at fun-filled events happening all over the city of Philadelphia. We included something for everyone, including special St. Patrick’s themed treats that you must try! Saint Patrick’s Day Festival | Fado Irish Pub

When: March 12-17
Where: Fado Irish Pub, 1500 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA

On Saturday, March 12, doors open early for premier league and 6 Nations Rugby. Brunch will be served, including $4 mimosas until 3 pm. Live music by 52 Pick Up is at 6:30 pm and DJ Press Play is at 10:30 pm. On Sunday, March 13, doors open early during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Brunch will be available and live music by Side Arm is from 2 pm-6 pm. On Thursday, March 17, doors open early and live music by 52 Pick Up is at 6:30 pm and DJ Press Play starts at 10:30 pm.

Newtown Irish Festival

When: March 10-20
Where: Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio, 240 N. Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day for 9 days at the Green Parrot in Newtown. The festival will include live music, Irish dancers, a balloon artist, Irish food and fare, and more. The Newtown Irish Festival is for all ages and will include Scott eh Balloon artist who makes balloon animals like leprechauns, shamrocks, parrots, cartoon characters and more. Live bands will include Jamison, Go Go Gadget, Lecompt, The Juliano Brothers, The Zone, The Shanty’s, The Blitz, The Malarkey Brothers, DJ Shelly Fiddle-Mix, Six Pack Rodeo, Side Arm, Seamus Kelleher, Mike Brill and CJ Mills. There will be 8 different local Irish dance schools performing.

Food specials will include signature corned beef eggrolls, fish & chips, Shepard’s pie, Irish stew, potato soup, Guinness stew, corned beef & cabbage and more. There will be Irish beers like Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks on tap, as well as green beer on tap. Irish whiskey and signature cocktail specials include things like Irish coffee, boozy shamrock shake, green orange crush, leprechaun lemonade, thin mint girl scout tinis, Irish mule, green teas and more.

Celebrate the Green

When: March 19-20
Where: Peddler’s Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA

In honor St. Patrick’s Day, celebrate the green at Peddler’s Village. Celebrate the Green takes place March 19-20 and it’s an opportunity to enjoy special menus, promotions, live entertainment and a kid-friendly leprechaun hunt.

St. Paddy’s UnWINEd Weekend

When: March 11-13
Where: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA

Celebrate the luck of the Irish all weekend long at Shady Brook Farm. There will be live music, Irish dancers, Irish food, drinks and lots of fun. There will be locally brewed craft beer, Rose Bank Winery wines and spirited drinks, and plenty of outdoor activities for the children. The event will be in the heated Barn and party tent. Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: Sunday, March 13, 9 am
Where: Philadelphia, PA

After a two year break, the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back! The parade begins at 9 am with the grand marshals. It will begin at 16th St. and JFK Blvd. and continue down Market Street. The parade will pass City Hall and then head to Front Street and end on Dock Street at Penn’s Landing. There will be performances at Independence Mall.

Conshohocken Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

When: March 12, 2 pm
Where: Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Conshohocken is the only St. Patrick’s Day parade in Montgomery County. The parade began in Norristown in 1992 but grew in attendance over the years and was brought to Conshohocken in 2006. It’s a fun community event! The parade begins at 2 pm.

Levittown St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: Saturday, March 12, 10:30 am
Where: Levittown American Athletic Association, New Falls Road, Levittown, PA

The Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off on March 12th at 10:30 am. The parade begins at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School and ends at Levittown American baseball fields on New Falls Road. Come show your support for the parade and sport your green!

Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: Sunday, March 13, 3-4:3o pm
Where: Town of Clinton, 43 Lehigh St, Clinton, NJ

The Parade has over forty marching units and five pipe and drum bands featuring the NJ State Police Pipes and Drums of the Blue and Gold. The other marching units include community groups, fire engines from the Clinton Fire Department, horses, dogs and Civil War re-enactors. This is a family friendly event and it’s free to attend.

Shamrock Crawl 2022

When: Saturday, March 12, 12 pm-1 am and Thursday, March 17
Where: Lucky Strike Philadelphia, 1336 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

Venture through streets of Philadelphia and celebrate through 30+ of Philly’s top locations throughout the city. This is going to be a fun event with drink specials and no cover charge all day. Stay and party all day and into the night. Get your tickets early!

Luck of the Irish St. Patty’s Pub Crawl

When: Saturday, March 12, 12-8 pm
Where: Howl At The Moon + Various Venues, 128 S 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA

The Annual Luck of the Irish St. Patty’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl is happening on March 12th in Philadelphia. Crawl through Philadelphia’s best bars. Participating bars include Howl At The Moon, Top Tomato 11th, Top Tomato Bar & Pizza, McGlinchy’s Bar, Drinkers Pub and Jeff’s Tavern. Get your tickets here.

St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

When: Saturday, March 12, 12-8 pm
Where: Green Room, 1940 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA

The St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl with some of Philly’s best locations. There are 12+ bars participating, free cover for ticket holders, free official t-shirt for the first 500 through the door, raffle opportunities, plenty of green swag for everybody (hats, glasses, beads and more), food specials, DJs and entertainment at select locations. Drink specials include $3 select light beer, $4 select mixed drinks and $5 green tea drinks. The 5th Annual Luck’s St. Patrick’s Day Crawl

When: Saturday, March 19, 4 pm – 12 am
Where: Concourse, Market Street, Philadelphia, PA

Join one of the largest bar crawls! There will be a $1,000 grand prize costume contest. With ticket purchase you will receive 2 complimentary drinks or shots, exclusive drink specials, amazing local food, custom lucky badge and lanyard, waived cover at all venues, a professional photographer, an awesome after party and access to the crawl map. Check in is between 4-6 pm and crawl locations are from 4-10 pm. Clancy’s Pistol Band is playing from 3-10 pm. There will be Irish dancers, food and drink specials and giveaways and raffles. Come and celebrate!

Plough & The Stars

When: March 17, 7:30 am-2am
Where: 123 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

Celebrate at the biggest event of the year! Jimmy Lynn’s annual breakfast buffet is from 7:30 am-11:00 am. There will be live music from open to close and traditional Irish dancers. Loaded performs live from 12-5 pm. Reel to Reel performs live from 5-9 pm and Celtic DJ performs from 9 pm-2 am.

McGillin’s Old Ale House

2021 Happening List Winner for Irish Pub!

When: March 17, Opens 10 am
Where: 1310 Drury Street, Philadelphia, PA

McGillin’s Old Ale House opened its doors the year Lincoln was elected president. The beer taps have been flowing since 1860, making it the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia and one of the oldest taverns in the country. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with green beer starting at 10 am. Cover with in and out privileges is $5.

O’Neals Pub

When: March 12 & March 17
Where: 112 S Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at O’Neals Pub. On Saturday, March 12th, there will be bagpipers playing in the evening. On Thursday, the pub will open early and begin serving lunch at 11:30 am, and dinner until 9 pm. Bagpipers will be there in the evening. Irish dinner and drink features will be running all week long!

Conshohocken St. Paddy’s Day 5K Classic

When: March 12
Where: Conshohocken Fire Company #2, 819 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA

The 2022 Conshohocken Classic will be Saturday, March 12, before the parade. The race will help raise funds for the Conshohocken Fire Company #2. If you finish, you will receive a finisher medal. This is a family friendly event and costumes are invited and welcome. Sign up here.

Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K

When: Saturday, March 12, 9 am
Where: 23 N. State Street, Newtown, PA

Participate in the 6th Annual Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K. The Shamrock Shuffle offers more than a typical 5K. When you finish running through the historic Newtown, you are invited to keep the party going. Instead of the Irish Festival this year, you’ll be able to shuffle through Newtown where participating bars, restaurants and shops will be offering specials and giveaways. All 5K participants will receive a custom finisher medal and quality finisher shirt.

Shake Your Shamrock

When: Sunday, March 13, 11 am – 1 pm
Where: Peddler’s Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA

Join Scoogie Events along with Hewn Spirits Distillery at Peddler’s Village for the biggest and best family St. Patrick’s Celebration. There are events for everyone in the family. Here is a lineup: Shake Your Shamrock 8K, Shake Your Shamrock 5K, Little Leprechaun 1/2 Mile Kid’s Fun Run and Pot o’ Gold 2 Mile Fun Run Walk. It’s suggested to park at Giggleberry Fair and sign up early. The event is expected to sell out quickly.

Luck of the Irish 5K – Virtual

When: Month of March
Where: Virtual

Participate in the Luck of the Irish 5K and participate from home with a 3.17 mile race. You can complete the race anytime during the month of March and 15% of the registration proceeds will be donated to the National Hemophilia Foundation. Your medal will be shipped to you upon completion.
