Easter is just around the corner! Celebrate the holiday with a skate party with the Easter bunny, a trip to Sesame Place, or aboard a Philadelphia ship. Here is your guide to Easter in the City of Brotherly Love!

Family & Community Events
Easter Family Fun Day

Introduce your little ones to Swedish Easter traditions. Easter Family Fun day includes Swedish Easter crafts, face painting, Easter witch dress up, and an Easter egg hunt! This event is free for members and children 2 years and under and $10 for non-members.
Skate with the Easter Bunny
When: Wednesday, March 31st, noon to 3 p.m., 3:30 to 6 p.m., 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Rolling Thunder. 7017 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia
It’s the biggest party of the year at Rolling Thunder! Pay $5 per person for admission. There will also be Meet & Greets with the Easter Bunny and friends!
Easter Family Skate
When: Sunday, April 4, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Where: Millenium Skate World, 1900 Carman Street, Camden, NJ
$10 admission including skates, plus bring a camera for pictures with the bunny.

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration at Sesame Place
When: March 27-April 18, on select dates, 10am-5 or 6pm depending on the day, to be reserved online with ticket purchase (children under 23 months are FREE!)

Join your favorite furry friends and characters for a safe and socially-distanced celebration! Chock-full of fun and exciting events, this year’s celebration is slated to be more thrilling than ever with numerous offerings available for the first time! All new this year are photos with the Easter Bunny in the new picture patch, described as an oasis! Bust a move and belt out a tune at the all-new Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party, a physically-distanced and interactive event. Also take part in the Easter Egg Hunt, where children will hunt for six giant Easter eggs and complete activity sheets in exchange for a prize. Complete your visit and delight in various character shows and even surprise mini parades!

Hop on down to East Passyunk for the South Philly neighborhood’s annual Easter tradition!Kids will decorate egg-collecting bags, pose for photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy music and then hunt for eggs filled with toys and candy. Be sure to check for special golden ticket eggs, too! They’ll be filled with gift certificates and prizes for kids and parents alike. Turn in those Golden Tickets at the prize table by 1:15 p.m. Egg times are staggered by group, suggested arrival time is 15 to 30 minutes before your age group:
4 and under: 11 a.m.
5-7 years: 12 p.m.
8-10 years: 1 p.m.
Philadelphia’s Largest FREE Easter Egg Hunt

With over 35,000 candy filled eggs, this is one hunt you won’t want to miss. Your kids will love the face painting, pictures with the Easter bunny, petting zoo, sack races, inflatable slides, and more! The $5 pony rides are the ONLY activity with a charge! The Block Church Egg Hunt
When: April 3, 1 to 4 p.m.

This free event will be a safe, family environment with masks required and temp checks at check-in for children from age 1 to 11. Registration is required. To reserve your spot, please select the ticket option that corresponds with your child’s age group. Each age group has 9 time slot options.
Reading Terminal Market

Where: 51 N 12th Street, Philadelphia
The Egg Hunt has not been announced for 2021, however there are ongoing Easter specials going on at the market and it is open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4: p.m. with several participating merchants. Masks are required by all visitors.
Calvary Christian Church of Philadelphia
When: Saturday, April 3, from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: 6000 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia
This event is open to the public. Each session will allow the kids to hunt for 15 minutes on the church lawn. The hidden eggs are plastic and filled with treats and toys. We have Easter baskets, too! We invite you to come out and be sure to wear your masks!
Easter Eats
Easter Bunny Brunch at The Elmwood Park Zoo
When: March 20, 21, 27, 28 & April 3, 4 at 10am, 11:15am, & 12:30pm
