Your stomach may lead you to the Independence Center today, with a 4.5 TON hoagie waiting for Philadelphians to devour. Today is Wawa Hoagie Day, a day dedicated to the delicious lunch staple, the Wawa hoagie, in celebration of the July 4th holiday and part of the Wawa Welcome America week long festivities.
Aside from stuffing your face, you can also enjoy these patriotic activities today:
- Write a letter to our troops at the letter writing station
- Live concert performed by the USO Show Troupe
- Hoagie building contest to recognize USO and local fire and police personnel
