Many were envying Philly residents this morning when two best-selling musical acts, AC/DC and Adele, announced that they will be performing at the city’s Wells Fargo Center in 2016.
Australian heavy metal pioneers AC/DC — who in its 40-year career has sold nearly 120 million albums in the United States alone — will perform at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19.
And record-breaking singer Adele, whose latest album was just released on November 20, announced that she will perform two shows as part of her first North American tour in five years. She’ll play at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 9 and 10. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 17.
