Skip the malls and big box stores, and get ready to shop local this holiday season. The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will return for its 4th year in Dilworth Park. And this year, there will be more vendors than ever before!

Philadelphia’s premiere local-focused holiday market returns November 17th through January 1st. Dilworth Plaza will be transformed into a holiday shopping wonderland with over 50 artisans, designers, crafters and confectionaries inside white, festively lit tents topped with original Herrnhut Stars. The focus is local vendors with arts, crafts and gifts made and sourced in the region. This charming outdoor winter bazaar was designed to complement the global shopping at the city’s largest holiday market, Christmas Village in Philadelphia – right across the street at LOVE Park. Christmas Village spotlights gifts and unique finds from around the globe, whereas Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market gives attention to vendors from the tristate area.

Unique Shopping

Shop unique gifts and products that can’t be found at the usual shopping mall. You’ll find artwork, home goods, ornaments, sweets, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations and more. There will be something for everyone on Santa’s list! New vendors French Toast Bites, Kremen Art and Chardonnay Go Board Game will join the festivities while favorite vendors like Saffron Creations, Independent Makers of Philadelphia and Philly Word Art are coming back to make it the year with the biggest variety ever. Visit the Made in Philadelphia website for a complete list of vendors.

Festive Foods

It wouldn’t be the holidays without a few festive treats. Warm up with hot cocoa and hot cider, plus a selection of Lacas coffee and teas. Holiday sweets and foods this year will also include fries and finishing sauces, a variety of sausages, Philadelphia pretzels, funnel cake, French macarons, pickles, sugar cookies, popcorn, cannolis and more. New food additions for 2018 include South Philly style Italian sausages, Philly cheese sausages, chicken skewers, Belgian fries and more.

Christmas Village Carousel

After you do a little shopping, stop by the Christmas Village Carousel. The whimsical carousel at the center of the City Hall Courtyard will give children of all ages a new holiday tradition. The 15 wood carved horses will be joined by five special reindeer and a Christmas sleigh this year for added fun. Rides on the Christmas Village Carousel are $3 each. Finally, don’t miss the additional Christmas Village vendors set up around the City Hall Courtyard.

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market is located in Dilworth Plaza at 1 S. 15th Street, outside of City Hall.
