Shark Tank – the critically-acclaimed reality show that has reinvigorated entrepreneurship in America – is going to feature Philly native and Drexel University’s “million dollar scholar” Christopher Gray on Friday, February 20.

For those not familiar with the show its main characters – the “sharks” – are tough, self-made, multi-millionaire and billionaire tycoons who are in search of the best businesses and products to invest in. They give people from all walks of life the chance to chase the American dream, and potentially secure business deals that could make them millionaires. Basically, the entrepreneurs who dare to participate in the show must try to convince the “sharks” to part with their own hard-earned cash and give them the funding they desperately need to turn their dreams into million dollar realities.

On the February 20 episode, Gray will be presenting his Scholly app – a tool designed to help students sift through the millions of scholarships available to help pay for their education. Gray himself scoured his options after being accepted to college and earned $1.3 million in scholarships for his education at Drexel University. In spending months researching, applying for 50 scholarships, and winning 34, Gray discovered that the key to utilizing the millions of scholarships available to students, is to know which of those millions you’re qualified to receive.

Tune in to see how the “sharks” react to Gray’s business pitch.
