When you say “Quizzo” to anyone not from the Philadelphia area you very well may get a confused look that is usually answered by “You know, Quizzo, at a bar? You answer rounds of questions with a group of friends with an awesome team name that you can’t wait to hear the host say over the loudspeaker all while drinking your favorite libations and hoping your team will win some great prizes?” “You mean bar trivia?” They say. “No. I mean Quizzo.”
As with most things, Philadelphian’s have a different name for it but none-the-less this long-time bar tradition is a favorite in the City of Brotherly Love! As wonderfully entertaining as it is, Quizzo is not a Friday or Saturday night activity. Here are places where you can play Quizzo each weeknight.
