PIFA Street Fair

The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, known as PIFA, returns this month for it’s third year.  PIFA is a 16-day celebration of the arts that starts April 8th and runs through the 23rd.  This year’s theme is “We are What We Make” and explores the various ways we are changed by our environment.

The festival, which is produced by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, will kick off with a Gala on April 6th and conclude with a free street fair on April 23rd from 11am-7pm.  The street fair will be on Broad Street between Chestnut and South and will feature performing artists, amusement park rides, and so much more including a zip line down Broad Street.

Philadelphia is a town so rich in culture, history, and art and that goes far beyond the steps of our famous art museum.  Many of the PIFA events, which will be going on everyday during the festival, are very reasonably priced so come on down and love the arts in Philadelphia!
