The kids are back to school and the weather is starting to turn but there is still a lot of great get-outdoors activities to enjoy this weekend. Here are just three of our favorite picks!
Philadelphia Fringe Festival
September 7-24 – Various locations throughout the city
Every year the Philadelphia theatre community brings us stunning works of art as a part of the Fringe Festival. This year the festival, which includes work performed all across the city, runs from September 7th through the 24th. Kick off the fun and celebrate the 21st anniversary of the festival with a party on Friday at 10:30pm at FringeArts on 140 Columbus Boulevard. Naked Bike Ride
September 9th 5pm – Throughout the city
It’s time to bare as you dare to support fuel conscious consumption and a positive body image by participating or even people watching for the 9th annual Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride. This casual bike ride has become a staple in the Philly community and Saturday is the day to see it for yourself!  Participants can bare as much or as little as they dare and the starting point will be announced on the PNBR social media on Friday. Mexican Independence Day
September 10 2pm-8pm – Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing
