Henri David’s Halloween Ball
Sunday October 30th 9pm – Sheraton City Center

Jeweler and Party Host extraordinaire, Henri David, has been throwing the best Halloween Ball in town since 1988.  A costume contest will take place at midnight so get creative and enjoy this spooky holiday will all of Philly’s movers and shakers! Check them out on Facebook to see the costume categories. Tickets are $25 in costume, $60 without.

October 29-30 – Schuylkill River Banks

Rowing is a sport that is part of Philadelphia’s DNA. Thousands of student athletes, professional athletes, and spectators will gather on the banks of the Schuylkill River this weekend to participate and watch the 2.5 mile race along Kelly Drive.

Find them as the event becomes a festival and is a great way to be a part of Philadelphia culture. There is no cost to watch the races but make sure to be there early if you want a good spot! For more information visit the regattas website.

Saturday, October 29 12PM to 5PM – Headhouse Shambles

Happy Halloween weekend! This fall-inspired South Street tradition will be sure to get you in the spirit. There will be live music, games, a straw bale maze, and of course pumpkin decorating among many other fun activities.

The District will also be collecting gentle used winter coats for One Warm Coat, to provide for those in need in advance of winter season. So clean out your closet’s and help a good cause. The event will be held rain or shine and best of all it is totally FREE! Bring the kids in their costumes and take them trick-or-treating between 3 PM and 5 PM to all the local South Street businesses. What a fun and safe way to celebrate the holiday!
