attachment-1-2The chilly weather has finally set in and we are ready to start talking holidays!  Whether you are already done decorating or you still can’t believe that stores are selling the holiday already, everyone can get down with a little seasonal fun!

Franklin Square Holiday Festival
Novmeber 10-December 31 4pm-8pm – Franklin Square 

The Holiday season is bright at the Franklin Square Holiday Festival.  There will be food and beers of the season at SquareBurger and the Winter Beer Garden and dessert from the Square’s brand new Ben’s Sweets & Treats.  The Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show presented by PECO will delight audiences of all ages.  Other events throughout the season include #FranklinSquareFridays, Santa Saturdays, Seasonal Sounds on Sundays, Lightening Bolt Holiday Express train rides around the Square, and a family-friendly New Year’s Even Countdown and Dance Party!

November 11 12pm-11pm – Dilworth Park

Dilworth park at City Hall is about to transform, as it does each year, into a winter wonderland.  Rivaling New York City’s Rockefeller Center, the Rothman Institute once again brings us an amazing ice skating rink for kids of all ages to enjoy! The rink officially opens this weekend and will help to celebrate our nations Veteran’s in honor of Veteran’s day by offering free skating to anyone with a military ID.  There will also be a performance by the Philly Pops Festival Brass Quintet; a singing of “The National Anthem” by Technical Sergeant Christina Thompson; and a Boy Scout Color Guard.

November 13 8pm – The Liacouras Center at Temple University 

If you like the Pitch Perfect movies than chances are you would love to see the Pentatonix perform live!  The Grammy-award winning, multi-platinum selling recording artists have been wowing crowds since 2011 and this weekend they will be performing at the Liacouras Center on Temple University’s campus.  Tickets are still available for the Sunday concert and you can purchase your tickets by clicking here.
