Happy first weekend of March! The first weekend of every month brings lots of fun and though Spring is still officially a few weeks away this weather has sure been making it feel like Spring has sprung! In addition to First Friday celebrations, pay-what-you-wish first Sunday at the Art Museum, and FREE First Sunday at the Barnes Foundation Museum, here are some more great events happening this weekend!

East Passayunk Restaurant Week
Now through March 10th – East Passayunk, South Philadelphia

We know that you’re still full from Philadelphia Restaurant Week but it’s time to get yourself down to South Philly for the East Passayunk version of this amazing event! How can one little neighborhood offer its very own restaurant week you ask? You need to get yourself there to see how many wonderful restaurants the East Passayunk area has to offer! Philly Craft Beer Festival
March 3rd 1:30pm-5pm – The Navy Yard

Sample over 200 beers this Saturday at the award-winning Philly Craft Beer Festival. Called one of the “Top 10 Beer Festivals in America” by Forbes Traveler, the Philly Craft Beer Festival will feature over 75 breweries from Philly and beyond! General admission tickets are $46, VIP tickets are $75, designated drivers can enjoy the event for only $12, and proceeds go to benefit Philadelphia Committee to Benefit the Children. Winter Warmer’s Festival
March 3rd 4pm-7pm – Skybox Event Center

Because one beer festival in a weekend is definitely not enough! Not that we need much help keeping warm this winter but the Philly Homebrew Club wants to make absolutely sure with this awesome, 5th annual, beer and chili competition! Tickets are $25 for early birds, $35 in advance, and $40 at the door. Come hungry and thirsty because the best beer and chili recipes are up to you!
