The 5th Annual Hemp Heals Music Festival on July 22nd will feature 311, Matisyahu, and Suburban Sensi. The Hemp Heals Foundation is a non-profit organization created by former Philadelphia Flyer tough guy Riley Cote. Riley’s quest is to help teach people the power of superfoods and the healing properties they possess and to promote a holistic healing approach by eating a nutrient dense diet including superfoods such as hemp seeds. Hemp heals the body, the environment and can help heal the economy.

Bert-ArtBertoia Fountain Installation at Woodmere Art Museum 
Friday July 22nd 6pm – Woodmere Art Museum

Join the Woodmere Art Museum for a Pop-Up Party celebrating the re-installation of the monumental sculpture and fountain, Free Interpretation of Plant Forms (1967), made by the renowned American artist and designer Harry Bertoia (1915-1978). Originally commissioned by the City’s Percent-for-Art program, Bertoia’s fountain was installed in the central plaza of the Philadelphia Civic Center in West Philadelphia in 1967. The sculpture was placed in storage in 2000 when the plaza and the adjacent buildings of the Civic Center were slated for demolition. The three-day process of moving the sculpture from its storage location to Woodmere will culminate in a celebration at Woodmere at 6:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2016.
