Ugly Sweater Run
December 17th 8am – Fairmount Park

Join the lot’s of Philly-folks dressed in their ugliest of Christmas sweaters on Saturday morning for the merriest 5k of the year!  Proceeds go to One Warm Coat, providing warm coats to those in need since 1992.  After the fun run through Fairmount park join friends and fellow runners for hot chocolate and an adult beverage!  For tickets and more information click here. 

 

winterfest12 Days of Christmas Movie nights at Riverrink Winterfest
December 14th-25th 8pm-11pm – Blue Cross Riverrink at Penn’s Landing 

The official 12 day countdown to Christmas began on December 14th and Winterfest is celebrating each night by showing a popular Holiday movie.  At Winterfest you can gather with friends and family, enjoy treats, and even take a spin around the ice skating rink all while enjoying the beautiful sights of the Ben Franklin Bridge over the Delaware River!  The movies are free, everything else is pay as you go.  For more information and a list of the movies being shown, click here.

Art After Hours: Barnes Foundation Open House
December 16th 5pm-8pm – 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway

The Art District in Philadelphia comes alive this Friday night with many offerings for Art After Hours.  The Barnes Foundation will have an open house and pop-up holiday market.  Admission to the museum is free and local vendors will be on hand and there will be wine tastings to boot!
