It finally feels like fall weather is here to stay. The crisp, cool air calls for warm spices and autumnal flavors. But the ever-popular pumpkin spice latte isn’t the only beverage to sip this time of year. If drinks with a little more punch are more your speed, these Philly spots are mixing up some special cocktails for the season.
The Twisted Tail
509-511 2nd St.
Philadelphia, PA 19147

The flame broiled fare from Twisted Tail’s charcoal grill is reason enough to visit this Society Hill spot. But to make it even better, the Twisted Tail is also a bourbon house and juke joint. Owner George Reilly is a Master Craftsman and one of the city’s trusted whiskey and cocktail masters. He has over 120 different whiskies on the menu, with quite a few of them aged and infused in-house. Reilly recently added a few fall cocktails to the seasonal menu and promises that he has even more in the works for the upcoming winter.
