Philadelphians love great beer, that’s why 9 years ago a bunch of industry professionals started what is now known as one of the best beer weeks in the country. Their mission is to promote Philadelphia’s diverse beer community both through a ten-day festival and throughout the year with a calendar of events and through social media promotion.
Philly Beer Week starts on Friday June 3rd, 2016 and runs through June 12th. The festival starts with the opening tap kick off party on June 3rd at the Fillmore on 29 E. Allen Street. The party starts at 7pm and includes lot’s of amazing beer from local breweries, live music, and food for sale from Wolfgang Puck. Tickets are $46 or $15 for designated drivers. If you’re feeling like a VIP you can purchase the ticket for $92 and get a catered preview hour starting at 6pm.
