IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to inclement weather the Mummers Mardi Gras parade has been moved to Saturday February 28 at 10: a.m. All event elements will remain the same and we can’t wait to see you all strutting down Main Street next Saturday!
The second annual Mummers Mardi Gras, which debuted in 2014 at the Piazza at Schmidt’s, returns on February 22 at an exciting new location – Main Street in Manayunk!
If you missed last year at the Piazza at Schmidts, now is your chance to be up close and personal with some of Philly’s finest Mummers. The family friendly event will provide kids and adults alike with numerous performances from some of the most prominent string bands, while also contributing exposure and raising money for one of our city’s greatest traditions.
When the Manayunk Mummers parade has concluded, guests can stroll down Main Street and participate in a variety of family friendly interactive activities housed in a variety of Manayunk storefronts. There will be plenty of interaction amongst the crowd and the Mummers, leaving no shortage of things to do.
