Those who have been regular customers at Maglio Sausage Co. over the years will be happy to hear that earlier this month the family-owned business expanded their services and are now the proud owners of an Italian-specialty food market.

For more than 60 years the Maglio family – who built their business on a reputation founded on priceless tradition, heritage and pride – has manufactured high quality Italian Sausage items since its origination in Philadelphia in the mid-1940s. Their original emphasis began with Italian Sausage, an old world blend of spices, and the freshest raw material. Over the years they expanded their line to a wide variety of Sausage items, as well as Italian Specialties, such as Stromboli’s, Meatballs and a Gourmet Line.

The new market – located at 3632 S. 3rd, the same facility as their current business – will sell Maglio products, prepared foods, meats and cheese, and other Italian products. They will even have a Dietz & Watson deli counter with an olive bar.
