zeropointzero500Have you always wanted to participate in a race, but don’t want the hassle of having to train? Well, now you can with the first-ever Philly 0.0 Instant Gratification Run – the shortest race ever, where participants will run a total of 0.0 miles.

The race, which is being hosted by Xfinity Live, will include the same things that most do – a simultaneous start and finish, t-shirts, entry bibs, live entertainment and of course a post-race party. It will start right outside of Xfinity Live on Pattison Avenue, where participants will have the chance to cross over the start/finish and then receive an official e-mail from Mid-Atlantic Timing with their finish time.

The event will take place on Friday, February 6. Onsite packet pickup will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the run will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Anyone 21 years or older can participate. The first 100 registrants will get in for only $20. After that the entry fee will increase to $35.

Oh and for those of you who are fans of Mr. Greenjeans, their singer Bryen O’Boyle will be performing at the event from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. To register for the event, click here.
