Rex 1516, Philadelphia’s newest Southern inspired restaurant, located at 1516 South Street in Philadelphia is one of few dining rooms to offer guests a gluten-free menu. Rex 1516 currently offers a gluten-free brunch, dinner and dessert menu with the addition of a lunch menu on the way! Flavor and creativity isn’t sacraficed in any of these amazing, dietary restricted dishes, such as the  8 ounce grind burger, Gateau flour-less chocolate cake, or farmer’s platter served with an special Rex 1516 made crostini.

Brunch highlights include Chef Regis Jansens’ famous Shrimp& Grits – with fried egg, roasted tomatoes, spicy cheddar sauce,blackened shrimp and crispy pork belly.

For dinner try REX 1516’s Roasted Chicken – with root vegetables, buttermilk mash and gluten-free chicken jus for a juicy and tastfully satistfying supper.
