It’s been a long, challenging first year for the environment under the Trump Administration. By undermining Clean Water Act protections for millions of miles of streams, shrinking public lands like Bears Ears National Monument, and withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, President Trump has clearly made attacks on our air and water a top priority.
But you’ve been with us, fighting back for our air, water and climate, every step of the way. In 2018, we’ll turn the tide–but first we need to know President Trump’s plans. Join us as we listen with local groups and activists to his State of the Union and discuss our plan to stop them together.
We already know that President Trump still has more attacks on our most critical environmental protections in store, and we’re expecting to hear more about the President’s anti-environmental agenda for the coming year in the State of the Union.
We’ll be listening closely together to make sure we’re ready to spring to the defense of our air, water, and climate right then. The State of the Union address is expected to start at 9pm sharp so make sure to get there early as we start the night with a rundown of our active campaign work and what to watch for in the speech. Then we’ll wrap up afterward by discussing what you can do to defend our environment in 2018. RSVP now and join us there.
