Erica Webster (Walsh) of Philadelphia may not have won this year’s Ms. Veteran America crown, but she had the experience of a lifetime.
Webster, an Army veteran and former Guantanamo Bay guard, was one of 25 finalists who competed in Washington on October 9. Webster raised $13,411 for Final Salute Inc., a Virginia-based nonprofit that provides housing to homeless female veterans.
Webster is a native of Roxborough and currently lives in Lafayette Hill. She is the Owner/Head Coach at DUB FITNESS, LLC. in King of Prussia. She shared photos and captions with Philly Happening of her once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Ms. Veteran America competition.

This was the dressing room during the competition in between my talent and gown portion. Fixing makeup after gymnastics routine.
The strut in my ballgown. I was in love with the fact that it had pockets!!
The ‘ Army girls ‘ at our big dinner the night before the competition.
Right before we headed over to the theater my husband surprised me! Which was awesome because my nerves were THROUGH THE ROOF!
His parents, my parents, my step parents, my brother-in-law, my sisters, my best friends, and my gym members all drove down from Philly for the competition!
The picture below are some of them with fans that David (my husband) made for everyone. My brother in law was passing them out to everyone. Even the judges!
Walking on my hands for talent!
My first entrance and strut across stage. Black dress and combat boots!
