tamar Philadelphia has always been a hub for the fashion industry. The city showcases a multitude of designers each year during Philly Fashion Week, and is home to a number of colleges with art programs dedicated to fashion design. Tamar Daniel, a resident of Bala Cynwyd, is excited to share her line of women’s bodysuits with the women of Philadelphia.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Israel from Shenkar College, Tamar utilized her talents to enter and win a number of design and tailoring contests. Tamar arrived in Philadelphia and started working at Anthropologie. Understanding that the retail business has shifted from major department stores to small, specialty stores, she focused her energy on what was to become Bradamant. Tamar gives the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Small Business Development Center a lot of credit, as is grateful to the people there who have helped her realize her dream.

Tamar started the company with the purpose of making it easy for women to be fashion forward without sacrificing comfort. The company is named after Renaissance female knight Bradamant, who was fiercely independent and inspired a multitude of women throughout history. Bradamant’s goal is to create bodysuits for women so that they can embrace their strength and independence through style. The bodysuits offered at Bradamant cater to the busy woman, whether she is busy establishing herself in a career, building a family, or busy travelling the world.

Bradamant’s small studio in PA serves as home base for Tamar and her team, but the bodysuits are offered the world around online. Bradamant bodysuits are styled to be easy to get in and out of when necessary and comfortable to wear. The specially-designed hook and eye closures, similar to those on a bra, were precisely placed on the garment for optimized comfort. Bradamant offers a variety of tops, including button-downs and t-shirts. Understanding the ever-evolving tastes of women, Tamar has created a number of bodysuits for any style.

When she isn’t combing through travel magazines or compulsively rearranging her furniture, Tamar enjoys spending time with her hubby and four children in their Bala Cynwyd home. Check out Tamar’s latest creations at Bradamant get inspired to include a bodysuit into your everyday wardrobe.
