Real L Word Cast Invades Philly

It was cold. The ground was icy. It was a Sunday night. However, that did not stop hundreds of lesbians (and gay men, bi-curious chicks, and groupies) from coming out to show Rose, Romi, Whitney, and Sara from Showtime’s The Real L Word Season 1 how Philly girls party.

The ladies, looking fabulous as always, graciously posed for photos, talked, laughed, and kept the cold (and debs) at bay by dancing the night away.

Since filming the show, the girls regularly make appearances at tons of lesbian clubs in the country in addition to their daily work, which for Rose includes running a successful real estate business and for Romi, a jewelry line.

And for inquiring minds, yes, The Real L Word will be back for Season 3 and this time they are doing it East Coast style. “We’re excited and gratified to be picking up the stories of our most beloved Season 2 cast members at some truly major and life-altering junctures, and we think it’s time to throw down and invite the women of New York to join in and demonstrate the claims they’ve lobbed at us these past few years … that New York’s women have something more to say about lesbian life, something that isn’t being said by our Los Angeles ladies,” executive producer Irene Chaiken said in a statement about Season 3.

Rose tweeted “East coast girls are BAD. Not bad as in bad but bad as in good.” We couldn’t agree more. 😉
