Philly Happening was fortunate enough to catch an advance screening of the new Seth MacFarlane flick, TED. A colorful comedy about a magical teddy bear that comes to life after an 8 year old boys wishes for a best friend, and 27 years later Ted and John, played by Mark Wahlberg, are still inseparable and full of shenanigans. Ted and Johnny’s relationship puts a strain on Johnny’s love life, a four year relationship with Lori, played by the gorgeous Mila Kunis, which can no longer take the strain of John’s attachment to his only childhood friend, a talking teddy bear.
This movie has a lot of unexpected cameo’s, shocking humor similar to MacFarlane’s hit television show Family Guy, and antics you wouldn’t expect from the least innocent of teddy bears. Ted and Johnny will make you laugh out loud with jaw dropping humor yet pull at your heart strings at the same time. A definite must see for every guy, a catch it if you can for every gal.
