Labor Day Weekend Happenings
August 28-30th visit with the Budweiser Cyldesdales and Hitch Team at various locations throughout Philadelphia, many visits are during community parades and other celebrations.
August 30th come on down to Penn’s Landing for the Smooth Jazz Summer Series & Friday Night Fireworks Finale, starting at 7:30 pm. Enjoy the last summer concert at the landing with Jonathan Butler and stick around for a grand fireworks event.
August 30th enjoy the sounds of many up and coming artists at Made in Philly at The Blockley on Chestnut Street. Show starts at 7:30 pm, $20 admission.
August 31-September 2nd venture into the NE and kick-start your Oktoberfest festivities at the Caanstatter Club‘s German-American Labor Day party. Lots of German food, beer, music and kid’s entertainment to enjoy.
August 31-September 1st One mega concert, two fun filled days! Come out for the Made in America Festival along the Ben Franklin Parkway.
September 2nd Join Philadelphia’s unions—over 100 of ‘em—for a parade and day of Labor Day festivities at Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing at 11am to 3pm. This is a FREE event.
