Celebrate Fastnacht Day, traditionally known as Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, which is February 12th (today). This sweet Day is known very well in our area as it is traditionally celebrated by the Pennsylvania Dutch, the day before lent begins as a way of emptying the pantry of lard, sugar, fat, and butter.
