If your a gal with good taste and a designer purse is the quickest way to your heart, then this is a do not miss event! The Hamels Foundation is hosting Handbag Happy Hour, a fundraiser featuring gently used or brand new designer purses by all your favorite designers. Your favorite local boutiques Skirt, Intermix, Kate Spade, Sorella, Artifact, Aoki, Three Sirens, Alexia’s Gift Box, Green Street Consignment, Revivals Boutique, Nich, as well as online boutiques Bag, Borrow, or Steal and CakeStyle have all provided donations.
Silent auction purse bids will start at $75 and raffle tickets will be priced at 1 for $5 and 3 for $10. But for those must have bags there is a “Buy it Now” option for a handful of handbags.
Everyone is invited to Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon from 9 am through 7 pm to view the handbags, purchase raffle tickets, and place silent auction bids. The cocktail party starts at 6pm, where guests will enjoy complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres and dessert. The event is free to attend. All proceeds will benefit The Hamels Foundation.

The Hamels Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization founded by Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi. The Hamels Foundation has a dual purpose to provide support for quality education in the United States and establish a school in Malawi, Africa. The Hamels Foundation takes a community-based approach to education by providing assistance to schools as well as supporting other education based non-profit entities in the United States in need of support. This includes but is not limited to providing stimulating learning environments, high-quality educational programs and necessary provisions to promote learning.
