Colonial Egg Dyeing with Deb Peterson

Learn the art of Colonial egg dyeing in Historic RittenhouseTown’s original 18th century Bake House. Deb Peterson of Pastmasters leads this class during which participants will learn how to dye eggs using organic, natural dyes such as onion skins, grape juice, red cabbage, beets, spices, flowers and candle-wax. Eggs are limited to six per person. This class is appropriate for children five and up as well as adults. Space is limited. To register visit their website.

Happy Easter at the Bellevue

The free event at the Bellevue, invites you to an afternoon of pictures with the Easter Bunny, crafts and goodie bags. Event is 12-2pm at 200 S. Broad Street. RSVP requested.

Lunch with the Easter Bunny

Hippity hop on over to Glen Foerd where we will once again welcome the Easter Bunny to dine with our guests and help make our Springtime Easter Egg Hunt the best one yet. Bring your Easter basket. Box lunch is included with admission, plus there will be entertainment and prizes. Festivities begin at 11:00 am ~ $20 children and adults. Reservations and pre-payment required. 14th Annual Fairmont Bunny Hop Bar Crawl

Hopping begins at 6:30pm on April 5th. This long time favored Spring bar crawl will hippity hop throughout the night at the following bars: Belgian Cafe (21st & Green), Bishop’s Collar (24th & Fairmount), La Calaca Feliz (2321 Fairmount), Jack’s Firehouse (2130 Fairmount), London Grill (23rd & Fairmount), Rembrandt’s (23rd & Aspen), St. Stephen’s Green (17th & Green), Bridgid’s (24th & Aspen), Lemon Hill (25th & Aspen), The Green Room (1940 Green St), Fare (2028 Fairmount), and Philly Pub ‘n Grub (2001 Hamilton).

Easter Brunch at the Hyatt

Easter Promenade

The South Street Headhouse District presents the Easter Promenade. The parade will begin at 1pm featuring music, animals, and artists from the Arts on South. Join a Doggie Parade by PAWS and receive giveaways from B101. All patrons are asked to arrive at at 12:30 PM to receive bunny ears and a chance to ride in Big Bus! Event is FREE and is 1:00-3:00pm.

Great Egg Hunt at Franklin Square

Throughout the whimsical playground of Franklin Square, discover the Great Egg Hunt! After a rousing ride on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel or a round of Philly Mini Golf, kids can hunt for eggs filled with surprises! What did Peter Cottontail leave behind this year? Event begins at 12pm, limited number of tickets for each age group. Registration on-site only, available at 11am. Free event.
