Perhaps you’ve never called them in an hour of need, but if you need to they’d be there. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter (SEPA) of the American Red Cross services more than 3.5 million residents in Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Chester and Delaware counties. Being called to duty during the most devastating of times, the Red Cross offers disaster relief and a variety of other community enriching services.

The SEPA is proud to be one of the largest chapters in the entire country and in 2003 became the first chapter to have their own Red House, a temporary housing facility for victims of disaster. An organization that provides necessary services and aid to millions of people every day, requires support from their community. One method of gaining said support is through the American Red Cross’ Annual Red Ball Gala, an evening of celebration, collaboration and charity.

The 2012 Red Ball Gala will be held on March 10th at the Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia. A festive evening of spectacular food, spirits and good old fashion fun. A variety of participating restaurants will serve up delectable fare as guests cast their vote for the “Best Restaurant” of the evening, crowning one local establishment at the end of the evening. Also on deck will be a variety of live entertainment, including but not limited to CTO Band, Profession Tarot Card reading by Marilyn Sukonick-Zeff, Main line photo booth, Live paintings and art by Funtown Productions, and a Maduro Cigar Club.

Guests will dress to the nines, posing along the red carpet in their tuxedos and evening gowns. An evening where you can feel like a movie star, right in your own backyard! How can you score tickets to such a fabulous and worthy event?
