9/11 Honor & Remembrance Ceremony and “Remembrance in Light” (1915 Woodside Rd, Yardley)

Yardley’s Garden of Reflection is hosting an Honor and Remembrance Ceremony, starting with the Yardley Makefield Fire Company ringing the bell eleven times to mark the 11th year since the tragic attacks. The bell will toll again to mark the time of each attack, and there will be a reading of the names of the Bucks County victims. The ceremony will end at 10:03 a.m., when the bell will toll to mark the Shanksville crash.

In addition, the Garden of Reflection will be hosting its first ever nighttime remembrance ceremony. The Remembrance in Light ceremony will take place from 7PM – 7:30PM and will allow all to remember that those taken from us during the September 11th terrorist attacks are not forgotten. We will light a candle, say a prayer, join in song, place a flower and be together as a community. CBS News Anchor and Co-Host of Talk Philly Pat Ciarrocchi will participate in the ceremony as special guests.
