On Saturday, June 21st the Philadelphia Zoo hosted the 4th Annual Summer Ale Festival known as Brew at the Zoo to many festival go-ers. The zoo welcomed area phoodies and beer enthusiasts to celebrate regional craft beers and various local foods, while strolling through the beautiful gardens that are home to 1,300 rare and endangered species from around the world. The Summer Ale Festival continues to be one of the region’s top summer events and is home to the “Philly’s Favorite Summer Beer” competition. All participating breweries compete and all attendees get to vote on their favorite brews at the zoo.
