preaknessAs American Pharoah, a gentle horse who does not like big crowds, glided over the finish line and ranked first in the Kentucky Derby people stared in awe. Now we’re all waiting to see if this formidable contender will win the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 16.

If you’re able to go to Preakness, that’s great.  However, if you’re like me and can’t afford the time to actually go to the event, you can still have a blast on Saturday at Philly’s annual Preakness at the Piazza.

Preakness at the Piazza, which will take place on Saturday, May 16 at the Piazza at Schmidt’s in Northern Liberties from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., is an event you won’t want to miss and one that supports a great cause – the National MS Society! During the event you will be able to watch the Preakness Stakes, airing live on the Piazza’s 400 square-foot LED screen. In addition, you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet of food, open bar with libations from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, contests and raffles, music, dancing, and fun-filled memories.
