Barrels on the Brandywine every weekend in March on the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail

The wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail will be holding their Barrels on the Brandywine event – which features tastings of the new developing vintage in barrels, buckets, bottles and more – on Saturdays and Sundays from March 7 through 29 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. This will be Brandywine Valley Wine Trail’s final Barrels on the Brandywine. After March, they’ll be converting their event format over to an annual pass called the Trailblazer.

At the event, local winegrowers and vintners will open their cellars and tasting rooms for barrel tastings and cellar tours.  Visitors may purchase Barrels on the Brandywine Passports, which are $15 each, online or from any member winery either in advance or at the first winery visited during the event.

The new Trailblazer pass provides great value and flexibility.  You can visit when you want, as many times as you want, and take advantage of special offers that vary by winery each month for a period of one year.
